Prentis Brooks

Prentis Brooks, Head of Information Security at Lincare Holdings, has 25+ years in tech, including 22 in cybersecurity. He holds a BS in IT, an MBA in tech, and (ISC)² certifications. Raised in rural Alabama, he learned leadership early in his family’s sewing plant. A US Army Reserve NBC Specialist (1990–1996), he began his tech career in 1995. His roles include AOL (web/server admin, security engineer), TWC (incident response lead), Royal Caribbean (2017), and Lincare (2020). He lives in Mulberry, FL with his wife and three of their five daughters.
